I wanted to create a space where people could experience something unique right here in Central Kentucky—a place that feels like a getaway without having to travel across the country or overseas. Yes. Event liability insurance is required for all events at Lockridge Park.

If you plan to serve alcohol, an additional alcohol liability rider is also required.

Most couples obtain this easily through their current insurance provider by adding a short-term event policy and rider to their existing homeowners or renters insurance. If you need help navigating the process, we’re happy to guide you.

Event packages include access to The Rick and the get-ready rooms, but overnight lodging is not included. Lodging options like wagons, cabins, Caves, and “tube rooms” can be added separately. Typically discounted with the packages.

No. Candles and open flames are not permitted inside The Rick due to safety regulations.

However, there are excellent alternatives! Battery-powered, flicker-style LED candles create the same warm ambiance without the fire risk. Guests often use styles available on Amazon that look surprisingly realistic.

If you need recommendations, we can point you toward options that work beautifully in our space.

You are welcome to use any outside vendors you choose. Vendor arrival, setup, and pickup are the responsibility of the couple and their vendors.

Access to The Rick is strictly limited to the access times included in your rental package.

If vendors need to arrive earlier or stay later, additional access hours can be purchased. Your rental includes only the hours you reserve.

While we do not manage full vendor logistics, we frequently work directly with your vendor coordinator or your designated key point-person to ensure smooth communication and a seamless event day. We’re always happy to assist where we can.

Send-off options such as bubbles, glow sticks, or sparklers may be permitted with prior approval. Items that create excessive debris (such as confetti or rice) must be discussed in advance and may require additional considerations.

Please note: Couples are responsible for cleaning up any materials left behind from their send-off, or ensuring their coordination team handles it. All send-off ideas must be approved beforehand to ensure safety and proper cleanup.

Otherwise, you are responsible for both the setup and the teardown of all tables, chairs, and included furnishings.

We do have a selection of ceremony arches and elegant décor pieces from previous weddings available for you to use.

All lodging units are automatically blocked for your event 90 days prior, giving you the first opportunity to reserve the entire park if desired.
